From as early as I can remember, I've admired friends, family, and complete strangers with artistic talent and have always wished to make a creative mark of my own in this world . I can't help but feel like something is missing if I ignore that wish. I'll never be certain how or if my work will impact others but I do know that it gives me great joy and purpose and am so thankful for each opportunity and time I'm given to leave behind a creative footprint in this world.  

 

I'm inspired everywhere, especially by music, photography, organic texture in nature, and travel. I'm originally from Chicago but have also lived in Los Angeles, New York, and Atlanta. It's always mesmerizing and sometimes startling how surroundings, skylines, and landscapes can evoke a mood. It's what inspired me to start painting abstract pieces that represent real places and very special moments in time. I love the unplanned process of abstract art. I usually start with an idea and end with something completely different by way of intuition and, if I'm honest, sometimes a series of accidents. 

 

I hope to continue to create each day where I live and paint in Atlanta, Georgia with my family.
